Title: ASSESSMENT OF OCCUPATIONAL EXPOSURE TO LEAD AMONG WORKERS ENGAGED IN A CITY BUS GARAGE IN ADDIS ABABA, ETHIOPIA: A COMPARATIVE CROSS-SECTIONAL STUDY
Merihatsidik Tesema Abebe was born in Ethiopia in 1989. He currently works at the Ethiopian Public Health Institute as a Public Health Emergency Management Officer. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry (July 2014), a Bachelor of Arts in Management (July 2019), and a Master of Public Health in Environmental and Occupational Health (February 2024), all from Addis Ababa University.
His areas of expertise include strategic planning, problem solving, report writing, guideline development for public health emergencies, and facilitating workshops and training sessions. He is also skilled in data interpretation and analysis using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. His work has extended to food poisoning investigations, supportive supervision, disease surveillance and response, public health risk assessments, and various reporting and documentation tasks.
