Maryam Koosha, Ph.D., is an esteemed scholar in Social Welfare from Allameh Tabataba’i University, Tehran, with a distinguished focus on elderly social health and medical sociology. Her doctoral dissertation, a seminal analysis of Iran’s elderly social health policies, underscoring her academic rigor. As a research specialist at the Motamed Cancer Institute and the Institute for Humanities and Social Studies, she has spearheaded pioneering projects on aging, breast cancer prevention, and socioeconomic determinants of health, shaping evidence-based policy frameworks.
